Each year the South Hill Rotary Club provides scholarships to students who plan to continue their education at the college level. Most years 6 scholarships, valued at $1,000/ea. are awarded to students eligible to attend Park View High School. There are 2 other private schools in the area and the decision was made several years ago that students who attend these schools could recieve one of the scholarships if by their residential address they were eligible to attend Park View High School. These schools are Kenston Forest and Brunswick Academy. A list of the criteria is found in the "Application" found on the "Forms" page of our site. In many cases more than 6 scholarships are awarded. The winners are also invited to attend a meeting to meet the membership and to announce their choice of school and their planned major. On occasion not all winners can come to the same meeting.
